Organization
The silent auction will begin as soon as the event begins at 6:30 pm. The auction items are divided into the following sections/categories: Unique Experiences, Manor Montessori Items; Getaway/Restaurant; Beauty and Wellness; Specialty Items; Classes and Memberships; Assorted Services; Entertainment; Dining Experiences; Miscellaneous; and Parties. Each auction item has its own lot number. A complete description of each auction item can be found in this program.
Bidding
The silent auction will close at 9:00 pm. The winners will be posted in the auction area by 9:30 pm.
Check-out and Pick-up : Check-out will open at 10: 30 pm. Go to the Check-out table in the lobby, and volunteers will take your payment and retrieve your items. All items must be paid for by the end of the event. Winning bidders should be present to pay for and collect their purchased items. If you MUST leave and are the highest bidder, the Auction Committee will be in touch with you regarding your payment. We accept cash, personal checks and MasterCard or Visa. Checks should be made payable to Manor Montessori PTA. Items not retrieved during the auction will be available for pick-up during school hours on Monday, May 7th at the Oaklyn campus.
Terms of Sale: Please make note of any expiration dates, exceptions and/or restrictions on gift certificates and tickets. All sales are final and no refunds or exchanges will be made except where specified. Manor Montessori assumes no responsibility for the condition of the items offered. All items are sold “as is.” It is the responsibility of the buyer to contact the donor and make any necessary arrangements for dates of use or delivery. Reservations or trips and vacation accommodations must be mutually arranged with the donor unless otherwise noted. The Auction Committee reserves the right to withdraw any item at any time without notice before the actual sale. In the event of a dispute, the Auction Committee is the final authority in determining the winning bid.
